Why Costa Rica?
Take a trip to this breathtaking country and its incredible beaches, and you may never want to leave. Nosara is located on the Pacific coast in the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. Its pristine beaches are protected from development, and hundreds of acres of protected forest surround this small but special town. World class surf abounds. The waves are consistent, and the water is warm and safe for swimming. Bodhi Tree is a consciously green resort, designed around nature to leave the jungle exactly as it was meant to be. Meet peace in paradise.
Your fearless leader for the week: Jaimée Horn
Jaimée aspires to create a gateway for people to slide into - where imaginations can stretch and bodies feel held. Everything she knows how to be is shaped by her background in movement. Her classes weave thoughtful sequences with carefully curated playlists. She is here because she wants to participate in creating beauty, because movement delights and stirs what is stagnant; because connecting is a portal to joyful self-awareness. Jaimée teaches public (and private) yoga classes, supports labouring people as they birth new babes into the world (she’s a DONA trained doula as well as a certified pre-natal yoga instructor), and hosts retreats in one of her favourite (and the most vibrant) corners of the planet. When not practicing or tending her garden, she’s wandering through High Park with her wild child Ella, or planning her next trip to the elemental spaciousness of Costa Rica.
