Workshop Features

In this multi-dimensional, experiential workshop, we will explore new ways of being together. Through self-inquiry and partner-work, fun movement practices and conscious communication, we will begin relating to one another with new eyes. Acro-yoga ® is a gem for its balance of trust and play, whether you’re serving as a stable base or a courageous flyer. Stepping into this practice is a wonderful way to relate to those around you on a more conscious level. You will experience first-hand moving outside your comfort zone, while taking responsibility for your words and actions. Pranassage ® is a creative synthesis of yoga and bodywork. The intention is to create a safe, supportive space that inspires a state of deep relaxation, while in a co-exploration of the physical and energetic body. Through this practice, we’ll work on the art of giving and receiving feedback. Through intuition and mindful touch, you’ll experience compassionate physical connection. More "take-homes” will be in the form of educational material and practical tools. Bring a partner, or make a new friend, and begin your journey… Evolving Love.

Time: 11 – 2 PM

Price: $45  (Couples $80)

Bio’s
Dharana is a 1000-hour Nosara Yoga Master Educator, holistic nutrition coach, personal trainer, and Pranassage practitioner. From the concrete jungle of New York City, she’s been living her dream in Costa Rica for the past 3 years. She trained at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Vinyasa, Therapeutics, Advanced Postures, and Restorative. Dharana's yoga is about creating balance within the body-mind. Her classes integrate functional movement with consciousness-based practices. She integrates the latest contemporary approaches to hatha yoga, wellness, adult learning psychology, and psycho-spiritual self-development. As a teacher, she has a diverse set of skills for creating effective, inquiry-based, non-authoritarian learning environments. Her intention is to help create a more harmonious and loving world by looking within and sharing our truth.

Swig combines a unique blend of learning and experience. He holds a Masters in Spiritual Psychology, has been a Rolfer for over sixteen years, practiced AcroYoga for six years, and has won National Championships in both mountain biking and rowing. The thing that he’s most proud of, however, is following his ‘path of the heart’. Allowing himself to be guided by his intuition, he has lived in Barcelona and Costa Rica, Hawaii to train dolphins, rode his bike across the country, and built giant art installations for Burning Man. Swig believes that if we can learn to really hear each other, while speaking our ultimate truth, the world will be a better place. He is currently advocating this through his teaching and his art.
