The chakras can provide guidance on the road to self care and offer us the tools to feel more vibrant in our physical body, more grounded emotionally, more connected to our creative energy, more attuned to our intuition and more aligned with our divine purpose. Through daily contemplation on the energy and purpose of each chakra, we will take a magnificent week exploring these radiant centers on a deeper level. The chakras are our road map of the self. We have 7 days to explore 7 chakras.
Each day we will focus on one chakra. Our asana practice, mantras, meditations and contemplations will attune us with that specific chakra, allowing the chance to investigate where we may be out of balance. We can then begin to utilize the tools of Yoga to find practices that can support bringing us back into greater balance and ease.
The purpose of a retreat is to take a pause from the busy hustle of our daily lives to make space to experience our true nature and true potential. The simple act of letting go and letting loose provides such healing. We will work hard but have fun. We will connect to each other and the epic beauty of mother earth.

In 2006 Dana Perry received her Yoga Certification from Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. She has completed levels I and II of her Reiki training with Lisa Levine and is currently studying the healing practices of Ayurveda with Maya Tiwari through the Wise Earth School.

“The experience of yoga has allowed for beautiful transformation in all aspects of my life. These practices have opened me up to my own inner strength, courage and compassion. Through asana, meditation, breath and mantra, I have been able to take a journey of deep self exploration that has simply made me want to love more, to give more and to continue on this path towards truth and light.
My classes and private sessions are geared to serve the students and help them find a practice that will uplift them and inspire them to feel alive and healthy in body, mind and spirit. I am thankful for the opportunity to share these practices and to continue to grow and learn with you all! Many thanks to all my teachers past, present and future. May all beings everywhere be happy and free of suffering. Om Shanthi.”

What do you look forward to most about this retreat?
After our first yoga retreat in Costa Rica in 2019, I visited Nosara for a few extra days of rejuvenation and fun. Included in the itinerary was a massage at Bodhi Tree that was so wonderful! My boyfriend and I spent the day by the pool drinking fresh juice from the juice bar and relaxing in the sun. It’s one of the best days I’ve ever had! When Dana and I found out we could host a retreat here I was ecstatic! I’m so excited to go back to Bodhi Tree, this time for longer and with more of my friends!
