Discover a deeper connection to your practice and the magic of Costa Rica during this inspiring Yoga Retreat! You will be guided through a mindful exploration of the three powerful aspects of  yoga practice: asana, bandha, and pranayama to inspire deep meditative state of the mind and tranquility of the heart.

We will begin our day with meditation practice rooted in a particular aspect of mindfulness, welcoming an intention for the day to blossom from this root. We’ll practice a pranayama technique that will support our intention.

The morning practice will invite you to explore complex asanas in a safe environment of a medium paced breath oriented practice. During the class different elements of the peak asana are woven together into an intelligent sequence. We will gradually bring all of the pieces of the puzzle together at the end of the class. This well-balanced practice will help you to approach the biomechanics of complex asanas and the bandhas work while calming the mind and establishing an energetic balance.

An evening class will be a luxurious Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra practice. It will invite you to tune into the steady flow of breath to discover the ancient wisdom of the body while cultivating mindful attention of thoughts and emotions. Yin yoga is a meditative, slow and quiet practice that works with deep connective tissues of the body while relaxing the muscles. Elements of Aromatherapy will be offered through the class. Enchanting aromas of lavender, ylang ylang and other delicious fragrances will relax the nervous system, soften the rigidity of the mind and body, balance emotions and rejuvenate your entire being.

In seven days you will learn:

  • Seven qualities of mindfulness practice and how to incorporate them in your daily life so they can support you in different life circumstances.
  • Seven Pranayama techniques that will help you to communicate with your nervous system to create energizing, calming or balancing effects.
