Her classes are flow or movement based; with a focus on connecting students to their breath, sensations within their bodies and to themselves. She is the Owner of The Space Oakville a movement and mindfulness studio. She offers local and International retreats numerous times a year.She is the founder of Celina Close Living – a holistic lifestyle company that promotes Yoga+Ayurveda as a way of finding vitality and balance. Celina is a graduate of iGita’s 250 hr YTT, she has continued her studies in various Yoga styles, Ayurveda and Breathwork in Canada, US and India.
Christine Fortier has over two decades of teaching and learning in studio and classroom in Yoga and Pilates and fitness. She is the founder and creator of the Art of Pilates Flow. A unique style of teaching that encompasses the 8 Principles of Pilates, Breathing, Concentration, Centering, Control, Precision, Alignment, Integration and Flow. Her teaching supports both the masculine and feminine energies within us, which leaves you feeling balanced, empowered and connected to your infinite power within. Her classes are thoughtful and bring out your inner strength. You feel comforted by the breadth of her knowledge and expertise on the body and its mechanics. Christine lives and breathes wellness and educates others on the tremendous healing powers of a lifestyle filled with movement, whole foods, mindfulness and presence. She is committed to motivating others on their wellness journey and serves as a mentor and knowledge of wisdom.Christine teaches and mentors in studio and online and runs local and International retreats.
