Teachers Bio

Deva Mitra is a wealth of knowledge in the Therapeutic & Healing Arts. For almost 20 years he has been leading various types of workshops based on energy work, movement practice, nutrition and Chinese Medicine all while practicing with enlightened teachers along his path. His training initiated with four years of study at the Medicine College of Chinese Medicine and Zen Shiatsu in Israel. While there, he specialized in Acupuncture, Shiatsu, and Nutrition. Concurrently during this time, Mitra studied both Thai massage and Reiki, becoming a Reiki master in 1996. In 1999, Mitra opened his own clinic for the practice of Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Thai massage, Reiki, and Jin Shin. In 2010, Mitra added Theta Healing Technique to his certifications and began implementing it into his work, as well various shamanic healing and energy cleansing techniques. When the life-force intelligence is obstructed, distorted or cloaked, we lose our sense of purpose, become last luster and foggy. When you are a clear vehicle of the supreme intelligence, you are happy, prosperous, attractive and crystal clear.

Kyle Mitri originally hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and upon meeting him, you will be immediately struck by his enthusiasm and positivity. Kyle’s passion is to motivate, rejuvenate and guide people to achieve their life goals. The inspiration for this comes simply as he has been surrounded by activity, sport and healing his entire life.

Since arriving in Costa Rica in early 2012, he has worked extensively with a well-known juice detox retreats. Integrative Nutrition, Power breathing and mindfulness have become integral elements of his progressive approach to harness the power of breath. By learning firsthand the nutritional benefits of juicing and pairing how to implement raw/vegan food concepts into everyday living, his notion of nutrition has forever been changed for the positive.
