Junk in the Trunk

Event Details

Event Name: Junk in the Trunk

Event Date: December 9, 2017 - December 9, 2017

The hips don’t lie. When they are holding, so are we. Yoga teachers often refer to our hips as the emotional junk drawer. All emotional imagery aside, the hips are common place we find tension. Modern culture requires us to sit or stand for long hours, and we rarely allow our hips to explore a full range of motion.

Junk in the Trunk

The hips don’t lie. When they are holding, so are we. Yoga teachers often refer to our hips as the emotional junk drawer. All emotional imagery aside, the hips are common place we find tension. Modern culture requires us to sit or stand for long hours, and we rarely allow our hips to explore a full range of motion.

In this sweet play-shop we will learn the anatomy of the Piriformis and Psoas, and how traumatic experiences can leave the psoas contracted. Ending with rejuvenating restorative hip openers.

Join us to release tension and create space. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Comfortable clothes are recommended.
