High-intensity interval training (HIIT), is a form of training in which you bring your heart rate up, through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, recovery periods. This type of training burns more fat effectively in less time than a typical endurance cardio workout. HIIT workouts provide improved athletic capacity and conditioning as well as improved metabolism. It can be done anywhere and usually doesn’t require equipment and may be more effective in terms of time commitment. Our HIIT classes include 10 minutes warm up, 30 minutes of intense interval training, and 10 minutes cool down including Savasana.
