85 Hour Immersion ~ Yoga Alliance Certified

Yoga and meditation may be the strongest offering that we can give to a pregnant woman. Through conscious pregnancy, birth and early parenting, we set the foundation for life-long health and happiness in a child.

During this 85-hour Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Program, as taught by Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa and Sarah Kamrath and based on Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, you will learn to teach postures (including appropriate precautions and modifications for pregnancy), ancient breathing techniques, mudras, and mantras in order to lead an empowering, uplifting prenatal class suitable for all stages of pregnancy. All aspects of preconception, pregnancy, birth, and early parenting are explored.

This weeklong immersion is designed for yoga teachers, students of all yogic disciplines, doulas, nurses, midwives, doctors, childbirth educators, and anyone wanting to deepen their knowledge. Come discover the power of this transformative, grace-filled, time-tested practice designed to help support a woman as she experiences the enormous physical, emotional and spiritual changes that prepare her to welcome a human being into the world.

If you are pregnant, we welcome you! There is no better time. Come connect with your baby, your sisters, yourself.

If you are hoping to have children someday, give yourself and your future child the gift of stepping onto the path toward conscious conception now – the earlier the better. And, for those of you who may not carry a child within your own womb in this lifetime, please know that some of the greatest Khalsa Way teachers are amongst you.

Through powerful rebirthing and subconscious cleansing kriyas, you will work to release and heal your own primal birth traumas, gain insights and healing and clear yourself before stepping into your new role as a teacher. Above all we will laugh, sing, dance, and hold each other high as we step into one of our most powerful roles as a woman –  helping women become conscious mothers … perhaps the greatest way we can bring peace to the world.

“Khalsa Way was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I signed up because of my interest in supporting pregnant women and new mothers. KW gave me back so much in return, including a profound healing opportunity to celebrate, grieve, and bless my own birth stories. KW is a transcendent experience of sisterhood; a spectacular introduction to kundalini yoga; and a chance to get in touch with important ideas around life and health that will sustain you in your journey as a mother and a teacher."

Louise Habakus, best-selling author, lecturer, founding director of Fearless Parent

"My experience with Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga teacher training was beyond what words can capture. The feeling among participants after a week together is indescribable. I signed up for it without any expectations – I wasn't even planning to be a yoga instructor. Learning from both Gurmukh and Sarah was so empowering. My birth experience five months earlier truly transformed my life. However, Khalsa Way training made it crystal clear for me… it was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. I was re-born, I found myself, I found my purpose, I found clarity, I found sisterhood, I found community and nothing was ever the same after that week. If there is anything a woman should do in her life to truly experience a transformation, it is the Khalsa Way training!"

Kasia Sanvee, doula/DONA, CLC, yoga instructor
