Sophia Mallie (she/her) a yoga instructor, and sound healer from Oakland CA. She first found yoga when she was moving forward in a dancing career, but having a hard time in life. Through the struggle of perfectionism, self-criticism, and an eating disorder, she found healing and balance through yoga, Her passion is to help others feel at home in their body, connect to inspiration, & use the power of the mind to grow more happiness. She brings over 15 years of teaching experience to her classes which weave intelligent sequencing, alignment, breath work, meditation & sound healing for a transformative full body experience. She is known for her fun, compassionate nature & her ability to provide support to the needs of each student.
Vickie Morse (she/her) started practicing yoga over 40 years ago. As a single mom, it was a valued stress release! Vickie began teaching a group of her fellow equestrians, and in a health club where she worked on the management team.
Vickie continues to grow her practice with specialty training in multiple avenues of yoga and fitness including certifications in Kids Yoga, Senior Yoga, Chair Yoga, Fusion Yoga, and Yoga for Osteoporosis. She is a certified “Matter of Balance” Coach, a SAIL (Stay Active & Independent for Life) Fitness Instructor, and recently became certified to teach Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention. Along with traditional Hatha and Vinyasa style, Vickie enjoys fusing styles to create an innovative, safe, and playful practice within a nurturing environment.
Vickie lives on a small farm in Sonoma County where she raised her two daughters and now shares the property with her youngest daughter and her family, including her grandson. When she’s not teaching yoga she enjoys horseback riding, gardening, hiking, reading, and exploring nature.
