Join us in Costa Rica for a yoga retreat devoted to exploration—of movement, breath, and exploring the truest parts of ourselves ready to be experienced. Each day invites something new: practices that spark curiosity with movement, playful workshops for growth and balance, and moments of delicious stillness and pause. With the beach just steps away, exploration extends far beyond the mat. You’ll have time to wander, swim, adventure, delight in delicious locally-sourced cuisine, and reconnect with nature and yourself within all that beautiful Nosara has to offer. This retreat is an invitation to play, for ALL audiences—to try new shapes, walk new or familiar paths, and breathe in space for joy, clarity, and connection. There is no “level” or pre-requisite, except to be open and ready to enjoy. Come ready to discover and delight in the magic of being fully alive in the way that satisfies your personal serenity. This retreat is yours, let’s make it right!

Event Leaders
Kathleen Lefstad

Kathleen Lefstad I am a RYT-500 yoga teacher and certified Thai Yoga Bodywork provider, who has been teaching for over 13 years, but has been immersed in all types of movement for my whole life. In the yoga community I have served as a teacher, studio manager, and Director of a Yoga Therapy school; teaching over 1,500 classes, workshops, retreats, and supporting a smattering of yoga teacher trainings. I love embracing the element of play within the physical practice, and strive to find different approaches to release, knowing not everyone’s “way in” is the same. I have a slight obsession with inversions, arm balances, and the transitions between postures allowing for a fluid flow. The Thai Yoga Bodywork has really expanded the way I offer assists and adjustments in class, and my continued interest in the philosophy, anatomy, and meditative aspects of yoga will hopefully continue to inform the way I teach forever, with so much still to learn.

Taylor Harris

I am an RYT-500 yoga teacher, personal trainer, and licensed massage therapist. My path as a teacher began in 2015 as a CrossFit coach and gradually evolved into teaching yoga several years later. Along the way, I’ve led workshops on posture and alignment and shared my love of anatomy as an instructor for yoga teacher trainings. In my classes, I invite a slow, intentional pace — exploring the spaces between postures where students can find easeful strength and steadiness without rigidity. Outside the studio, I love hiking, trail running, and spending time in my garden.
