TRAUMA INFORMED | NERVOUS SYSTEM RESET | REPETITION THAT REWIRES

Welcome to Pulse, a trauma-informed immersion designed as a deep dive into restoration, regulation, and neural repatterning.

Over the immersive experience at Bodhi Tree, Jane Fryer and Ashley Ludman guide you through a brilliant and unique synthesis of the internal healing arts of THE RESTORATIVE RHYTHMS: Breathwork, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yin, Yoga Nidra, and Mindfulness Meditation.

Pulse is intentionally structured with enough repetition to create lasting change. Through rhythmic sequencing, layered rest practices, and guided breath, you’ll experience a total reset of your nervous system and begin to shift the unconscious patterns that shape your responses to stress, chaos, and uncertainty.

Our dharma: to share the PULSE of Restorative Rhythms, practices that restore the  pulse of life, deepen connection to your inner landscape, and reopen the pathways of  safety, trust, and resilience within you.

The world is unpredictable and pretending otherwise won’t help.

Pulse is an invitation to come home to your body and train steadiness where it actually lives.

We don’t promise calm seas.

We teach you how to breathe, orient, and move with clarity inside the storm.

This trauma-informed immersion is both a deep dive and a reset, a way to retrain your nervous system and rewire unconscious patterns that keep you reacting instead of responding.

Your nervous system learns through repetition, for better or for worse.

The patterns that run your life (your reactions, your protective responses, your unconscious choices) are built from neural pathways that strengthened over time. Even when those patterns no longer serve you, the brain will default to what it knows.

Through the rhythm of repetition, Breathwork, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Mindfulness, you’ll discover how to stabilize your inner landscape and awaken the wisdom that allows you to move through chaos with grace.

Jane Fryer

ERYT 1000, Advanced Restorative Teacher Trainer

Jane Fryer holds a myriad of certifications and has been teaching for decades. She is the creator of a style of Restorative Yoga she calls Essential Nature, and has trained hundreds of teachers in Nosara through the Nosara Yoga Institute. She is offering Mini Restorative Trainings in 2017, ( see janefryer.com for details).

Essential Nature Restorative Yoga brings multidimensional benefits to students supporting movement into the inspirational, creative and open energetic field of space. This is where possibility lives in all of us. The yogi’s refer to this vibration as the “bliss body”. Her teaching style engages precise and provocative language to access and illuminate the alchemy of your multidimensional self; referencing both esoteric and scientific perspectives. Release your stress and Radiate your light.

Ashley

Ashley Ludman is a breathwork educator and somatic guide based in Nosara, Costa Rica, and the founder of The Body of Breath. With over 25 years of experience in yoga, bodywork, and breath-based practices, she teaches in a way that bridges nervous system regulation, fascial + Somatic awareness, and embodied presence.

Her breathwork classes at Bodhi Tree invite participants into deeper coherence through conscious breathing, subtle alignment, and grounded integration. Ashley’s approach blends anatomical precision with intuitive awareness, creating a practice that is both accessible and transformative.

In July, she will co-lead Pulse Immersion — a restorative, rhythm-centered experience weaving yin, restorative yoga, nidra, and breathwork to recalibrate the nervous system and reconnect to inner rhythm in community.

Ashley’s work is rooted in one simple truth: when breath shifts, everything else can follow.
