The Art of Flow is a unique opportunity to surf, breathe and restore with two former Bodhi Tree instructors who deeply connect to Nosara as their true home away from home.

In addition to surf, sun, Power Restore ®, restorative/yin yoga, Qi Gong, and Breathwork, you will experience true local flavor via some of the BEST instructors, characters , hidden gems and adventures that make Nosara who and what it really is. We will also have an opportunity to learn about and give back to the community in a unique and special way that keeps the good vibes flowing in all directions. A good portion of your tuition will go directly back into supporting the people and area you are visiting.

This group is intentionally kept small to maintain an intimate vibe, a lesser footprint and a chiller experience all around. We are super stoked you are considering joining us in the Art of Flow!

Nicole Koch

Founder and Creator of Power Restore Yoga®

Hi! My name is Nicole Koch. I am the creator and founder of Power Restore Yoga® – the unique brainchild born from my life experience. As a natural extrovert who was always on the move, it was my diagnosis with Lyme disease that would change my world dramatically. Throughout my 7 year healing journey, I have become a passionate student and teacher of restorative yoga, yin, nidra, reiki, breathwork, nervous system regulation, brain retraining, polyvagal theory, cold therapy, kundalini, Qi Gong, Flow State, Red Light Therapy, jungle medicine, and the list goes on. I remain in awe of the recent collision course of academia and spirituality, and our ability to continuously prove the efficacy of the wisdom nuggets that have been professed and practiced by the sages for millenia.

I have combined my thousands of hours of trainings, teachings and lived experience into a system of yoga designed to help others navigate their way through their own unique healing challenges. In addition to lending my compassion, deep understanding and personal experience, my goal is to empower your body and nervous system to find its way back to center.

Quite simply, it’s about systemically returning to balance in mind, body and soul and harnessing our innate power to do so. Welcome to Power Restore Yoga ® and The ART OF FLOW.

Rae Helsel

Heyo! My name is Rae – mostly I’m a rest evangelist with the mission to normalize slowing down in an over-worked and under-rested culture. Burnout is real. Too real. I first discovered yoga and meditation while living through the uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis and subsequent chemotherapy in college, and I have experienced directly how this practice can heal, restore, and empower the mind, body, and spirit. After my recovery, I went to Nosara Yoga Institute about 15 years ago to complete my 1000 hours of teacher training. I fell in love with the jungle so much that I moved there full time for a couple of years to continue teaching and training.

After teaching yoga full time for 5 years, I expanded my career by opening a software development agency called RANA DEV.
True to her belief in living a life of balance, Rae lends the other hemisphere of her brain to her career in software development with her agency RANA DEV. The yin to that yang is The Rest Movement – her way of inviting others to learn what she has found to be the most restful, restorative, and seasonally rhythmic approach to existing as a human being.Rae has over 2,000 hours of education and continues to study with her teachers Jane Fryer, Judith Lasater, Sarah Powers, Bernie Clark, Lorie Dechar, Thomas Droge, and Mimi Kuo Deemer.
