Tracey began her love of movement skiing in the Swiss Alps, and at the age of 13, began practicing Bikram yoga. She practiced for 6 years religiously, and, at age 19 completed her Teacher Training Program at Yoga Tropics in Encinitas, California, which she co-founded with her family. She has taught over 3,500+ classes over the past 9 years, has been a featured instructor at Yoga Rocks the Park in 2013 and the V Elements Festival in 2014, and became a co-owner of Yoga Tropics in 2012. She has trained with John Friend in Anusara, Prana Flow and Radiant Heart Wisdom with Shiva Rea, Hot Hatha Yoga with Bikram Choudhury, Ashtanga with Tim Miller, David Swenson, Vinyasa yoga with Vinnie Marino, Dharma Yoga with Kristyan Stjerne and many other notable instructors. In 2011, Tracey completed the Ashtanga Primary Series Teacher Training with Tim Miller. She continues to cultivate her practice in several styles and shares her passion for yoga with her students every day. Tracey is a team member of the Sean O’Shea Foundation, and has taught at-risk youth throughout San Diego County, including Clark Middle in City Heights, Orange Glen High School in Escondido, Mendoza Elementary in Imperial Beach, and at the Oncology Unit at Rady’s Children’s Hospital. She has also modeled yoga apparel and gear for Prana, Yoga Paws and Glyder. As a practitioner Tracey is an inspiration – as a teacher, she is intuitive and compassionate, calming and encouraging and shares her enthusiasm in every class. When Tracey is not on her mat, you can find her singing in one of the local venues around San Diego, with her band, Mango Melody.
