Linda Marchand

Linda Marchand is an energetic and enthusiastic teacher who loves to share her knowledge and passion for yoga. She is a former classical and contemporary dancer with almost 30 years of teaching experience. Linda was the owner and artistic director of L’Académie de Danse Classique from 1999 until 2015 and continues to teach classical ballet and contemporary dance. Yoga quickly became an integral part of Linda’s life when she began practicing over 25 years ago. After attaining certifications in various styles of yoga, and attending many intensive workshops and specialized trainings, she began to develop a unique approach to teaching. She has discovered a way to integrate her many years of perfecting, teaching, and observing movement, with an emphasis on correct and safe alignment, into her yoga teaching. Linda specializes in teaching Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Therapeutic Wall Yoga and Chair Yoga for people with limited mobility. She gives an array of intensive workshops, including breaking down asana, sequencing and cueing, the science of yoga, acro-yoga and meditation. She runs local and international retreats and works one-on-one with individuals striving to unite all the aspects of yoga; pranayama, asana, meditation and self-awareness, in a way that will allow them to practice joyfully, safely and injury free for many years to come.

Louise Kralka

Louise Kralka came to yoga looking for a way to exercise. What she discovered, was a way to live! This discovery prompted her to complete her YTT 200hr teacher training in 2015 and her Chromatic Teacher training with Matt Giordano in 2019. Louise teaches Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Wall yoga, Chair Yoga, meditation and pranayama. at various studios around Montreal. She has taught Acro-yoga at the Illume Yoga and Wellness Festival and has offered workshops on the philosophy and foundations behind yoga. Louise is still an avid student, seeking to learn all that yoga has to offer. Her love of exploring movement in space has encouraged her to study wall yoga, aerial yoga and acro-yoga, as well as to deepen her knowledge of working with props and optimal alignment. Louise takes a fun and creative approach to teaching yoga and encourages students to work towards their full potential within a safe and nurturing environment.
