To invigorate you upon rising, your morning yoga practice will be a 75-90 minute vinyasa class. Our evening class will be restorative and will include meditation, yin postures and pranayama (breathwork). The theme of the retreat is A Seven Day Exploration of the Chakras, therefore each day’s class will centre around the seven energy centres of the body. Our body is an energetic system through which the universal life force flows. Our seven chakras are a part of this energetic system – they connect us with the larger part of ourselves, the universe, and at the same time they hold the secrets to a healthy, prosperous and gratifying life. We will learn about these subtle energy centres from the root up to the crown and how these chakras affect us daily.
