Based in New York City, Kristen has been sharing yoga and mindfulness techniques since 2008, where she teaches group, private, corporate and teams. Her passion for yoga and sports has also led her to focus her attention on how yoga can be utilized during training for optimizing performance and injury management. As a YogaWorks Certified Teacher and Trainer, she is dedicated to the personal and professional development of her students and aspiring teachers. Inspired by the Iyengar and Ashtanga lineages and eternally grateful to the guidance of her own teachers (past, present and future). Kristen feels truly blessed to experience and share the yoga traditions to live, learn, and create positive social experiences with every step.
For Kristen, teaching yoga is an opportunity to give back. It is an opportunity for to share all the amazing gifts she has learned along the journey. Kristen offers students a fun and safe environment where they can learn the physical practice (asana) and challenge themselves in a mindful way on the mat. It’s inspiring to witness the shift in a student, when they realize their potential and fully embrace who they are in a class, but more importantly in everyday life.
