The tropical rainforest of Costa Rica is one of the most ecologically diverse and beautiful landscapes in the world. Through masterfully led yoga, breathwork, and Forest Bathing you will experience the profound sacredness and vitality of this landscape as well as the wholeness, sacred, and vitality within you. On this journey, your heart will expand and awaken to experience greater joy, inner peace, and freedom that you can incorporate into everyday life.

Join Wendy Swanson, yoga teacher, acupuncturist, nature lover and travel enthusiast, and Kathleen McIntyre, nature therapy and adventure guide, embodiment coach, forest ecologist, and educator, on an adventure in stunning Costa Rica. You can expect to be guided to align with the mystical rhythms of the ocean and the jungle. We will embody and practice the wisdom that is yoga and pranayama (breathwork). We will listen to the sacredness within and around us clearing our path to greater freedom, joy, health and peace.

A TIME FOR YOU

● Unwind, strengthen and restore with slow flow yoga, restorative deep stretching, and yoga nidra

● Unite with the sacred, your highest Self and purpose through forest bathing and nature connection

● Uncover life-enriching principles so that you may reawaken to your life’s passion and calm the stresses of the mind.

PROGRAM

● 1-2 Yoga or Meditation Classes Per Day (slow flow vinyasa, restorative deep stretch, and guided meditations)

● Breath and gentle movement practices to integrate, create flow, and connect

● Sacred nature connection practices

● Forest Bathing in the JUNGLE – WOW!!!!

● Guided Nature Walks through the jungle

● Time together on the beach

● Plenty of relaxation time

● There will be some additional optional excursions (price not included) this could include zip line, dolphin boat ride, kayaking

INVESTMENT

Starting at $2,519

A $500 deposit is required to reserve. You will be invoiced the full amount from the system, and the balance will be due per schedule.

Wendy Swanson

Wendy is a yoga, breath & meditation teacher, licensed acupuncturist, international retreat leader, published writer and former yoga studio owner.

Wendy’s personal yoga journey began in 1993 as a way to relieve tension in her body and mind. In 2009 she completed her 200 hour training and more recently received her 500 hour yoga certification from Kripalu Center of Yoga & Health. Wendy also received her master’s degree in acupuncture in 2007 and has had a busy private practice ever since.

For Wendy yoga, meditation and breath are tools to live a more balanced and vibrant life. Wendy’s classes are soulful, with awareness to alignment as well as just plain fun. She predominantly teaches slow flow vinyasa, deep stretch, restorative, yin, meditation and pranayama. She’s committed to practicing and sharing the benefits of yoga in its whole form in an inclusive, accessible, and loving way.

Wendy is a breast cancer survivor who lives with her husband, daughter and energetic flat coat retriever in Charlotte, NC. When she is not on the mat or seeing acupuncture patients you can find her strolling around her neighborhood, writing, hiking in the woods or connecting with a few close friends. Kathleen McIntyre

Kathleen is a presence-based and embodiment coach, nature therapy guide, forest ecologist, educator, and retreat facilitator. Her approach draws from plant and energy medicine, neuroscience, somatics, and indigenous wisdom teachings.

Kathleen has been leading individuals and groups into the wilderness since 1998. She received her Masters of Forest Resources in 1999 and began the journey of fusing her passion and knowledge of land conservation and restoration with Nature’s wisdom teachings. In 2008 she completed a three-year certification program in energy medicine,

and in 2011 she received her Permaculture Design Certification. She also had the honor of studying Presence-based coaching with the late Doug Silsbee.

Kathleen believes connection both inward, the felt experience of inhabiting your body, and outward with the natural world is the healing balm we all have been searching for. Kathleen supports this connection and guides individuals into profoundly restorative and healing experiences with the natural world.

Kathleen lives in Davidson, NC, where she co-founded the Davidson Green School and loves to end the day by sitting around the dinner table with her husband and two inspiring teenagers.
