Join us in Nosara, Costa Rica for an adventure filled yoga retreat with our favorite instructor, Kristi Bettencourt. Enjoy 7 nights, twice a day yoga and 3 delicious meals each day.
First, Nosara is in Nicoya, one of 7 Blue Zones in the World, making this an ideal place to reduce stress, restore peace and focus on health.
Next, the resort is all inclusive. The accommodations are luxurious. The food is local, fresh and some of the best I have tasted. Did someone say “SPA”? Yes! The spa is onsite and so affordable you can get a treatment every day. There are pools, a full gym, spin classes and a smoothie bar. Walk or ride a bike (provided) to town or the beach. If you are looking for adventure, we can arrange surfing lessons or a zip line excursion. You can also curl up with a book / journal. This is your practice and the resort supports all intentions.
Last (as if you need more), Kristi will be leading us through two yoga classes every day! As the program runs Saturday to Saturday, that is a minimum of 10 yoga (always optional, all levels) yoga sessions….In the Shala…In the jungle….With the Howler monkeys. GET EXCITED!

I believe in bringing joy to the everyday. I believe yoga is a beautiful experience to be shared. It is my great pleasure to provide this joy and experience to my students. The beauty of yoga is how dynamic it
can be. It always fluid, always changing. Different sequences or even different moods can completely alter one’s experience.
My goal is to give this experience. I am your guide. I am your motivator and your friend. I want to give you time to bring you back to yourself and really reconnect with your own body in a way that will
stay with you and guide you in your life.
I graduated from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. I have over 8000 hours of experience in teaching Pilates and Vinyasa Yoga as well as a variety of other certifications listed below. I found yoga in 2010 after moving from Hawai’i to North Carolina and quickly fell in love. I did
my 200 hour training with Yax Yoga Concepts out of Virgina Beach, VA with certification in vinyasa as well as hot yoga sequencing.
